We would like to get emails into Otrs from a Gmail account, but are having hard times and no success.

Is there please a simple primer on how to accomplish the task?

I do it with fetchmail. gmail -> fetchmail -> local smtp-server -> procmail -> Postmaster.pl PostmasterPOP3.pl don't have needed options... Mike

It seems that extra parameters are to be set (example: port 665): where are the settings, please? Does anybody have any experience about it?

Hi Luigi, ...alternatively to waiting for bug to be fixed (which is more an enhancement request than a bug) you can use our PortMasterMailAccount-PAckage which allows you to access POP3(S) and IMAP(S). There are a few more config options than in the common OTRS-Postmaster e.g. the port.
