I do not really undertand the question. If you are concerned that Mails stored in the OTRS can be accessed via pop3, then the answer is no. OTRS does not provide or install a pop3 or imap Server.

Ok, you answered my question. (I explain my question: I don't want that messages stored would be able to be extracted from the OTRS System in any way, so I force users to always read messages from the web frontend.)
