Dear Christian, Well, I did as follow: - Saved everything: tar folder /opt/otrs and did a mysqldump of the database. - Stopped otrs/httpd and mysqld daemons. - Uninstalled rpm otrs-1.3.1-01 (modified files were saved as .rpmsave). - Installed new rpm otrs-1.3.2-01.i386.rpm - Replaced .rpmsave files to normal files (ex. Config.pm) - Restarted mysqld/httpd and otrs daemons. After that everything worked well except uner administration when making a queue a sub queue of an other. Then, this terrible message arrives : Error: Need SystemAddressID! ... BUT I did this morning a new test on the same machine: - Saved the database (mysqldump) - Stopped otrs and httpd daemons. - Uninstall rpm otrs-1.3.2-01 - Delete the otrs database under mysql. - Installed one more time otrs-1.3.2-01.i386.rpm - Restart httpd daemon. - Did the configuration as http://ditsrv12.epfl.ch/otrs/installer.pl - Did not replaced .rpmsave files to normal files. Like a "fresh installation". Then I could connect onto the new OTRS as root@localhost, create some queues and made queues as sub queues of others. Everything went well, but without data (of course ;o) So I restored the data I saved before onto the fresh OTRS database and then, again, when making a queue a sub queue of another, I had the message : Error: Need SystemAddressID! ... I found some scripts under /opt/otrs/scripts. Is the one that I should use for this update? Many thanks in advance for light and have a nice day, Philippe Roth
