OTRS from deutsch to po russki?

Hi list! I use OTRS successfully since years in german language and all work fine since years. Now I have to setup some additional queues in russian language and charakter set. Is possible to switch some queues to russian language and charakter set? I try to setup some autoreply or send some test-emails, but OTRS convert all letters in email into html: ...Ува... and noone can read russian letters. Any ideas!? Hi Peter, I think you have to set OTRS to use UTF-8. But take care - it only works fine after having done some patching, because UTF-8-support is yet not 100% implemented in OTRS. See mailing archive (english & german) and bugzilla for details. Bye, Alex Peter schrieb:

Bye, Alex Hi Alex! I have found a solution. :)
=> If my russian technicals want/need/must answer tickets in russian language they must switch otrs-panel into russian language. Then the charakter set is also switching and all is works fine with russian letters. And then all auto-answers must also be edited/created in russian otrs-panel to use russian letters. And for german/english answers you must switch language back. So, it works mainly, you must only know to switch everytime into other otrs language. Hi Peter, I wonder about this possibility. But regard the following questions: What about the co-existence of special german and russian charaters? How do you search for "müller" within the russian GUI? If you found it, how is "müller" displayed within the russian GUI - I think it's not possible to use ü within the russian mode? For that reason, UNICODE/UTF-8 was developed to handle all possible characters without the need of character code page switching. So I think the use of UTF-8 is the best choice for you, particularly because you need unicode-support not possibly tomorrow but in deed today. Bye, Alex Peter schrieb:
