Hi Franz, I gave it a go yesterday and struggled a bit. I changed my config.pm for customers to use authentication type HTTPBasicAuth. I installed the apache NTLM module. It wouldn't work! The system log was coming up with User: No $ENV{REMOTE_USER} !(REMOTE_ADDR: 10.0.100.5). I take it that my NTLM module isn't working, but after tinkering have no idea how to make it work. Google is being no help either. Any ideas? Good News First: There is a Way, NTLM Authentication is the Magic Phrase. But: We've tested NTLM-Authentication with the crappy Module for Apache 1.3 (using otrs 2.0.4). Works more or less, there are quite a lot segmentation faults - but maybe it fits your needs.
