Upgrading OTRS from 3.0.1 to 3.0.6
Hi, When directly upgrading from OTRS 3.0.1 to 3.0.6: Why was in the /opt/otrs/Kernel/Config/GenericAgent.pm $VERSION changed from 1.13 to 1.14 and what does this mean? Best Regards, Gerold

What I wanted to say: When upgrading OTRS the version will stay at 1.13, but at a clean install it will be 1.14. What does this mean? What are the implications?

Hi Gerold, regarding the implications I guess there won't be much / any according to the source diff and comment : http://source.otrs.org/viewvc.cgi/otrs/Kernel/Config/GenericAgent.pm.dist?vi... http://source.otrs.org/viewvc.cgi/otrs/Kernel/Config/GenericAgent.pm.dist?r1... But to be on the safe side and to have a clean system I would recommend to simply replace the file manually with the recent file. Regarding the reason I don't know the answer, sorry. The source archive for example contains the correct version. Maybe if you tell how you did the upgrade this will become clearer.
