Problems with charset when fetching email from Exchange

We have OTRS 2.3.4 for Win32 installed with utf-8 charset, we fetch emails from an Exchange server through POP3 account. We are using Spanish language and when the customers write us an email with special characters like [á, é, ...], OTRS reads it with strange chararcters. ¿What can i do? Thanks in advance. Luis Montañés.

Hi Luis,
It looks like either the database charset and/or the charset for the
frontend of OTRS is not configured correctly. Please look into that.
