RE: [otrs] Multiple Sessions of OTRS

To do this, all you have to do is take out the reference to kernel::config, and replace it with a do command on the correct config file. I replaced all of them in each .pm, but I am not sure if you have to do all of them. We are running 3 instances under modperl This forces it to read the config file every time as opposed to using the one saved in memory. Modperl saves things in memory to speed them up. -----Original Message----- From: otrs-bounces@otrs.org [mailto:otrs-bounces@otrs.org] On Behalf Of Alexander Scholler Sent: 28 April 2006 07:16 To: User questions and discussions about OTRS.org Subject: Re: [otrs] Multiple Sessions of OTRS Hi, Prafulla Kumar H.S. schrieb:
Hello,
Is it possible to host multiple sessions of OTRS on a server?
I am looking for using single system for three different departments so as to maintain data confidentiality between departments.
We use a productive and on test-OTRS-system on one host. The installation of multiple OTRS-systems is no problem if you use the CGI-integration in your webserver - I have no idea how a multiple installation can be achieved by using mod_perl. See the doc and the recent postings for guidance. If you still have problems, let me know.
Thanks, Prafulla Kumar
