Hi When creating a "phone ticket" and assigning it to a certain queue, the notification of that ticket being created is not emailed to the users responsible for that queue, however it does show up in "My queue" when a user logs in. Is this by design? Thanks Toby

Hi, We get a lot of spam in the RAW queue. Are the any way to stop the moving of spam into the RAW queue ? Create a postmaster filter based on the value of mail headers like the
following:
X-Spam-Flag=YES
and set X-OTRS-QUEUE=Junk
Then create a generic task which purges the Junk queue once in a while.
Please note that the X-Spam-Flag must be inserted by an antispam
software like spamassassin. Otrs can't detect spam by itself.
Depending on your antispam software config the header and the value can vary.

Well now i'm stupid, but will this not just move them over in to the Junk queue ?, are there a way to auto delete the Junk queue?

Maybe.... :-D But I'm quite new to otrs :-) Will I have to move the 1500 mails in the RAW queue to the Junk queue myself, or will the postmaster filter handle that for me? - Dahl -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: otrs-bounces@otrs.org [mailto:otrs-bounces@otrs.org] På vegne af Umberto Nicoletti Sendt: 7. marts 2007 11:28 Til: User questions and discussions about OTRS.org Emne: Re: [otrs] RAW

The filter applies only to new emails not to those already in otrs. To delete those 1500 emails you have two options: 1) manually move them to junk and delete them with a generic task 2) delete them with a run-once generic task directly from RAW Item 1 is safer because you won't accidentally delete a valid email unless *you* choose to move it to Junk. Item 2 is quicker, but might accidentally delete a valid email that is also resident in the RAW queue. If you are sure this is not possible just go for 2, otherwise stay on the safe route and opt or 1. HTH, Umberto
