Hi people, After a few weeks of testing the system, I had a question about the ticketview. Is it possible to use the contenttype text/html instead of text/plain? So I can view HTML mail directly with the ticketview instead of viewing the attachments. That would be very nice. Our company was, before implementing OTRS, using templates for outgoing mail. Is there a way to use them again? I would be very nice to send HTML mail ass well. Several weeks ago I already posted a message like this, but without a satisfying answer. So lets try it again. Kind Regards. Chris Reurings

The problem, because the page is already a text/html page. And e. g. the <body> tag can just used one time for the page... so you need to use something like iview/iframe/frame (IMO). (http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/present/frames.html and http://host/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentZoom&TicketID=224&Subaction=ShowHTMLeM...)

Of course, you can use email templates (auto responses, std. responses) for text/plain messages.

Not without patching the source. (dev mailing list or ((otrs.de)))

Hi, Are that multiple files, Or just one file for sending mail? If yes: which file? Or is that too complex to understand. It's complex, because you also need to integrate an html editor for composing html emails. I don't know if it's too complex. However, it's nothing for the users list. .-) It's for the dev list or for ((otrs.de)).
