Re: [otrs] Software error

Hi, we encountered the same problem at a new installation. the simple solution: We just deleted the new files (version 659) and copied the old .pm files. voila - it worked again.
unshift gives me the same result ... No luck ... Stil lthe same error message. (the code with the warn statements does not give me any output ...)
you need the check your apache error log. greetings, gerhard -------------------------------------------- Thus spake the master programmer: "Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained." Hi, good to see that I am not the only on with this problems ...

That is what allready was suggested on this list before, but not an option for me. My website runs on a shared server and my provider does not wish to downgrade ... I need to find a solution fast now, my customers are getting impatient ...
voila - it worked again. I whish it was ...

ls, somewhere I hoped the problem would have been solved because I was still running 2.0.2 on my system ... So I updated to 2.1.7 ... That went rather smooth .... All seems fine, but still the same error ... "Modification of a read-only value attempted at /usr/lib/perl5/ site_perl/5.8.8/i686-linux/Net/DNS/Question.pm line 47." Is there really no fix for this ??? (besides downgrading perl ?) Eddie On 2-jul-2007, at 17:32, Eddie Bindt wrote:

extra info .... setting Framework -> Core -> CheckMXRecord to NO ... fixed the error message and makes the system useable again. Perhaps some developer who knows the internals can look into the code and create a permanent fix for this. Eddie

This issue appears to have something to do with a PERL update. The issue only occurs if you have recently updated PERL.
