Hi all, I just installed OTRS as we are evaluating ticket software, and I am a big fan of open source. I just have two questions about OTRS, one is why do certain queues blink, and how can I stop that before I have an epilictic fit? and the second, at the top right it says new message although I have read the message. How do you trigger the new message count to realize you have read the new message??!? Thanks all, Jeff

Hi all,
I just installed OTRS as we are evaluating ticket software, and I am a big fan of open source. I just have two questions about OTRS, one is why do certain queues blink,
This one is due to the fact there are open tickets older than x days. (this is what I am thinking, I am not sure) You will also see the old tickets queue are going to be red. and how can I stop that before I have an
epilictic fit? and the second, at the top right it says new message although I have read the message. How do you trigger the new message count to realize you have read the new message??!?
New message means that you have an ticket that requires your attention : ticket follow up; assigned ticket by another operator; pending expired; etc ...
Thanks all, Jeff
