I confess that I'm far from a Linux expert. I've been trying to install OTRS on a Redhat 8.0 system via the tarball and the 7.3 rpm and not having much luck. Has anyone documented the process or should I just install on a Redhat 7.3 system to make it easier on myself? Thanks. Clayton

The 7.3 RPM on 8.0 isn't so fine! :-/ -=> OTRS 1.1 comes with a RH 8.0 RPM. But 1.1 isn't released yet. Maybe it's better if you install a CVS snapshot and update it later to OTRS 1.1. ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/misc/otrs/misc/snapshots/RPMS/redhat/8.0/

Hi there,
we got a serious problem: It seems that most of the emails we want to send
to the customers over OTRS cannot
send, but we have no idea why! Here´s a small snipplet of error messages
we´re receiving every 5 minutes. I think
OTRS just don´t delete the emails from the POP account or something like
that. The emails OTRS want the emails
send to are valid, so it should not a problem to send them to these
addresses! The customers also are complaining
that OTRS is spamming them with emails over and over, but I hadn´t the
chance to see the mails OTRS is sending
to them.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andreas

What OTRS version do you use?
Thanks, Andreas

Update to OTRS 1.1, we fixed a few bugs in PostMaster backend.
