The file you can download is the file that contains the SysConfig changes. Why are you surprised at being offered a download when you chose to download the SysConfig changes? Nils Breunese.

hi thanks for the reply. i was surprised because the file name was sysconfigbackup. so was wondering what it was. i have saved the file now. but should i save it in a specific location for the changes to take effect?? thank you swatha

It is a file that can be used to backup your changes to the system, so if you setup a new OTRS system, you can apply the same changes again in one step. Downloading the changes doesn't change anything in your setup, it just gives you a file that contains what the setting you changed yourself. Nils Breunese.

thank you very much. did u see my post regarding the back option? can you help if you u know why this is happening?? thank you
