Hello, James. Sorry, didn't notice your email. I'm using Google Chrome and OTRS 2.4.4. I tried the same with IE6, and that worked for me. root@localhost is the default administrator, I decided to leave it as is, and it's assigned to all new tickets automatically. I agree with you that this is meaningless, but how can I get the new tickets to be unowned? Cheers, Ilya -----Original Message----- What version of OTRS and what browser are you using. No worries, I use Chrome + 2.4.4 so it's strange that the bulk action isn't working out for you. I know in some other browsers I've had trouble with the javascript that controls the bulk action stuff. Simple way to test if your browser isn't correctly passing the tickets you've ticked is to click Bulk Action without ticking anything and see if you get the same message. As for tickets being unowned; you can consider a ticket to be unowned if it's unlocked (or at least that's how we operate here). If it were bugging you a lot I'd create a user named "Unowned" and set up your incoming mail filter to set "Unowned" as the owner of all incoming tickets. Reason I say about root@localhost is that it's obviously a default, and it's good practice to change from the default username. Please let me know if this helps your situation. Thank you, James.
Maybe I did something wrong when reporting the problem, but now everything works flawlessly both in Chrome
and IE.
I also considered the 'unowned' user, but thought that probably there were a possibility to have, so to
say, 'technically' unowned tickets, i.e. that belonging to nobody, even to the 'unowned' or 'root' users.
In any case, thanks for your time.
Cheers,
Ilya
