Hi all, I am new to the group and looking with interest at OTRS as an application. I am going to set up a SuSE box to experiment with OTRS but my preference is to use Postfix instead of Sendmail? Can this be done (this is probably a FAQ but I could not find it)? It's not important the MTA, I use OTRS with postfix without problem or configuration hack. OTRS send email via MTA indipendent interface (/usr/sbin/sendmail wrapper or port 25).
To fetch incoming email you can use a standard pop3 account. If you prefer interfacing otrs with procmail, alias,etc.. you can do this with any MTA. Matteo
