Compare (diff) your theme to the Standard theme. Adapt the main differences. Perhaps Martin could um up what and where to change... Martin? One could build an upgrade scripts for themes then. With kind regards, Robert Kehl

If it makes any difference I was using the standard theme.. and I'm
still using the standard theme.. the Lite theme also does this same thing..
From what I could see in the faq/doc you change the theme in your sql
table..
it also looks like the permission program doesn't work either..
[/opt]# 146 > /opt/otrs/bin/SetPermissions.sh /opt/otrs otrs www
SetPermissions.sh <$Revision: 1.22 $> - set OTRS file permissions

Then it should work oob. How did you perform the upgrade?

You did execute the database changes, didn't you?
it also looks like the permission program doesn't work either..
the output is ok. Regards, Robert Kehl

Ok, I needed to graceful/restart the webserver. (thank you for your help) I kept getting the same error as previously shown about the maildir/mailbox: @40000000415457ed07e8d184 delivery 187: deferral: /usr/local/bin/maildrop:_Unable_to_open_mailbox./ @4000000041545d650b17513c delivery 188: deferral: Unable_to_chdir_to_maildir._(#4.2.1)/ this was fixed with a chown -R otrs:www /opt/otrs (like I said before I think the SetPermissions.sh isn't/didn't work) that got the majority of the wierdness to stop. The last strange thing I think we have going on is this: @4000000041545fe92198ab7c status: local 1/10 remote 1/20 @4000000041545fe923673d74 delivery 191: success: Use_of_uninitialized_value_in_string_eq_at_/opt/otrs/Kernel/System/Ticket/Article.pm_line_1387./did_0+0+1/ @4000000041545fe92381aefc status: local 0/10 remote 1/20 @4000000041545fe92381d224 end msg 86854 @4000000041545fe92e299aa4 delivery 192: success: x.x.x.x_accepted_message./Remote_host_said:_250_OK_id=1CAuJL-000ACx-38/ @4000000041545fe92e46467c status: local 0/10 remote 0/20 .. any clues? Thank you in advance

The themes form OTRS 1.2 to OTRS 1.3 are not compatible because of new dtl block feature. It's a big step and a major change. :) You need to modify the new .dtl.
clues appreciated.
