
Hi all, after I activated ArticleStorageFS my QueueView was suddenly empty - MyQueues dropped to zero and all other Queues were hidden in QueueView. When I wanted to examine this the next day the error was gone on my OTRS 2.4.4 production system and after two days it disappeared also on my ITSM 1.3.2 test system. I wasn't able to reproduce this by resetting OTRS 2.4.4 to a system image I created before the activation and doing it again. The error definitely existed. For about one hour I checked my preferences and queue rights, I tried successfully to access the queues by the search function and via the phone ticket mask and reactivated ArticleStorageDB before I gave up. Has anyone ever heard of this ? I'm worried about the stability of this feature. I have the same problem. I did an upgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.4.6 yesterday. The tickets are still visible on the dashboard and through the search function, but they disappeared on the MyQueues view. Any hint? Regards Frank Wall

Hello Frank, I regret, I have no hint except waiting. As described the problem suddenly disappeared one or two days later. But please notice that I did no upgrade, I just changed the article storage parameter. And I never had a 2.3.x installation. So you could have the same symptoms but with another cause. If you switch to ArticleStorageFS, you will need to run the
ArticleStorageSwitch.pl script to get the existing attachments (and
rich text for emails, which is also treated as an attachment!) out of
the database and into the filestystem. The process is mentioned here:

The other way around, if you would switch back from ArticleStorageFS
to ArticleStorageDB, you'd need to run the script again to get the
attachments from the filesystem into the database...
