From that place it never gets to the otrs user on my system (as queue request)
How do I change otrs to look in /var/spool/mail?
The way is a little different. Your MTA (e. g. Sendmail, Postfix, ...) should work with procmail. And ~otrs/.procmailrc pipes the emails through the bin/PostMaster.pl (before the email is in /var/speol/mail/otrs). If emails in /var/spool/mail/otrs, check your MTA if procmail is configured and if your ~otrs/.procmailrc exists. PS: The next release includes a bin/PostMasterPOP3.pl wich an be configured via the admin interface. So no procmail or local mail delivery is needed (easier to setup but with procmail you have more possibilities).
