
Hey all I'm a relatively new OTRS user and I'm just exploring the program for future use. My issue is how do I allow certain customers to view others tickets? I need to be able to allow all the customers within a company to see each others tickets but not those of other companies under the company ticket tab. I have enabled Customer groups but have found that to be of no help, I'm probably missing something simple just haven't been able to solve the problem. Thanks for your time! Andrew Andrew R. Read up on MultiCustomerIDS here: http://doc.otrs.org/1.3/en/html/customer-user-backend.html This will allow users to have a primary id and secondary ids (company ids). Only those users that have the same secondary id will be able to see tickets that have the same id assigned to it. Hth, Tyler Hepworth

Moin, this is done by giving the same clients ID in the customer Base data sheet to all of them. In the German version (i am working wirth) it is called Kunden# and it is the field beneath the email adress. Moin, Nachdem du meintest du arbeitest mit der deutschen Version von OTRS gehe ich davon aus, das Ich mich der deutschen Sprache bedienen darf. Ich habe in deiner Antwort glaube ich die Lösung auf mein Problem - Customer mit einer bestimmen Zugehörigkeit sollen unter "Company Tickets" alle Tickets der anderen Customer sehen - gefunden. Was du allerdings mit "Base Data Sheet" meintest, und vor allem "always the same value for the groups"; hier verlier ich den faden.
