Fetching mail with embedded objects/screendumps

Does anyone know if there is a fetchmail alternative that will retrieve emails from an Exchange server that has embedded objects like screendumps, pictures etc? Grabbing this with fetchmail using POP3 will leave the embedded objects out of the email as they don't conform to the SMTP standard I guess. I think an imap client would be better here, as it would allow fetching of attachments - but fetchmail will ignore these emails all together when using IMAP... We kind of need this before we can implement OTRS in our organisation, as a lot of the emails we get contains screen dumps of error messages etc, and it's too much of a hassle to have the user past the data into a document to insert. Fetching mail with embedded objects/screendumps?! I've used fetchmail for a long time at a customer site to pull down mail from a multidrop mailbox and it always brings down attachments etc, as they are encoded as text and put in the email; the mail client at the other end then decodes them and displays them as regular binary files again. fetchmail doesn't 'see' attachments, it just sees text, and the mails should come down in full. If you're finding it isn't coming down off your exchange server it is your exchange server that is at fault.
