
I am having trouble finding where to change the POP3 default port the one used by our exchange 07 server, I also need to enable SSL please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Using SSL with POP3 is not possible with the standard PostMasterPOP3 module of otrs because the Net::POP3 cpan module which is used to fetch the message does not support SSL. If your OTRS is installed on a linux box you could use fetchmail to retrvie the mails. See our admin manual on http://doc.otrs.org for more details how to use fetchmail. ...this is not supported by standard OTRS. But there is an extension which allows to define the port as well as to use SSL. The only drawback is that it needs some additional perl modules to be installed. Thank guys. I was getting messages in root@localhost. But now there is
nothing so my assumption is that authentication
is correct but the are 17 emails in the account but they have been
downloaded into OTRS. No sign of errors though. How do
I check the mail queue coming into OTRS or any logs that can help.

...for some reason the postmaster couldn't fetch the email an dies. Is there anything of interest in the system log? However, please remove the process id from the process_id table an run bin/PostMasterMailAccount.pl manually. I deleted the process from the database and ran bin/PostMasterMailAccount.pl
manually as sugessted.
It just hangs and nothing appears to be happening, no mail comes in. I let
it run for about 10mins and
still there was nothing.
