Hi there in ITSM we have preconfigured 5 CI categories: Computer/Hardware/Location/Network/Coftware. How can I add a new category, for example, Router?? Which files do I need to touch? :) Thx in advance?
Hm, don't you want to use the “Hardware” category for Routers? There's a
field “Type” further specifying the device. You can add “Router” to its
drop-down box – if it's not already included – in the Global Catalogue (
ITSM::ConfigItem::Hardware::Type).
