Hi all! I did not find any documentation on how to modify the fields used by the "Config Item" classes definition. I would like to change the way a few fields are defined: for example I would like the "Vendor" field of the "Computer" class to be selected from a list of values and not a free-text field, the same for the "Model" field which should be a list dynamically composed depending on the value of the "Vendor" field. Anybody knows if this can be done ? It looks like the definition of all classes in the ConfigItem Management can be modified but I have no idea of which "Type" are acceptable by OTRS. I tried to use the GeneralCatalog classes (defining a new class and referencing it from the ConfigItem definition) but it is not satisfactory because it is too cumbersome.
