Hello, I'm writing a definition for a ConfigItem Class, and would like to know if is there a way to add some kind of field that it's another ConfigItem Class This way I could link the Classes Computer and Software for example, and would know which software runs in which computer Is this possible? Thanks

Hello,
Not sure if possible but that's what the Link functionality is for: Create
Computers, create Software apart and then link them together, that way you
don't have to create the same entry twice when a given software exist in
two different computers.

Hi Leonardo, Yes I've seen that, but I'm importing the software and computer data from a csv file, i didn't see a way to create the link automatically from the csv files. Any ideas? Or a way to create links between computer and software through command line? So i could create a script to do that. Thanks Em 19/10/2012 10:49, "Leonardo Certuche" < leonardo.certuche@itconsultores.com.co> escreveu:

Hello,
What we do is:
1. Load CSV
2. Download CSVs (with CI numbers on it)
3. "Link" them on a new CSV file (first column CI#1, second column CI#2,
third column relation between CI#1 and CI#2
4. Invoke new CSV file from database stored procedure so the links get
loaded
I wonder if there's a better procedure.
