
Just to be clear, I failed with chromium ( based on the google browser source , for linux)i Managed to install it the plugins with firefox 3.0.13 pf-matmoj:~$ dpkg -l |grep chromiumii chromium-browser 4.0.202.0~svn20090815r23528-0ubuntu1~ucd1~intrepid Chromium browser its an svn version :) so dont know if you want to spend time on it since its not a stable version. I was using google chrome when the module installation failed (ff is to slow for me under linux :|)

just to be sure that the max_allowed_packet is really used by maysqld (sometimes it's a little bit tricky)... are all mysql checks fine in the support assessment?
