This is a bad idea, having 100's if not thousands of emails in a mailbox that have to be read every time you check for new messages would not be feasible in a production environment and would dramatically increase the delay in getting tickets into the system. Setup a dedicated mailbox to OTRS and if you want a copy of the emails set it up to send to multiple mailboxes.
but i can define a rule that all incoming mail will be sented as copy to an other mailbox, not a big deal.
Do you have any idea if it would be possible to sent my incoming mail to a imap box, let a copy be sent from imap to a pop 3 box with a forwarder, this pop 3 linked in otrs, but that OTRS shows it as an original mail? if you know what i mean?
If Exchange has the functionality on the server side rules then I don't see why not, but by far the easiest way is to use a distribution list.
Steve
