If you are receiving large volumes of tickets, this may not be as effective
as implementing
procmailhttp://wiki.otrs.org/index.php?title=Use_procmail_to_handle_OTRS_requests_in...,
which handles tickets instantly.

I edited /opt/otrs/var/cron/postmaster_mailbox and changed the default value from 10 to 1
And it works!

the time interval is controlled by cron based on the files under /opt/otrs/var/cron/.
