3) I prepared the necessary IIS virtual directories as described in the otrs faq ( http://faq.otrs.org/otrs/public.pl?Action=PublicFAQ&ItemID=123 .... Additionally you must allow the Perl CGI script to be run on your server. As a standard, this is set to be blocked by the IIS. Look for the ISAPI/CGI restriction list, it is the last folder in the mmc. (not sure about the actual name of this settings folder)
This was exactly whats missing, not OTRS is working :))) on window 2003, IIS 6.0, Sql 2005 activestate perl 5.8 build 822 thanks all for the help My next step should be to figure out how to setup OTRS to aithenticate against the windows active directory of the firm I work at (i.e. the network accounts) The next version of the Admin Manual will include the manual
installation of otrs IIS6 on W2K3 Server with ActiveState.
