
So it looks like if there is an embedded or linked image in the HTML email, OTRS strips it out and displays the rest of the email as plain-text and attaches any inline images. So there's some issues with HTML still. Try sending emails from different sources. Everything is being converted to text and I would like it be HTML (for formatting, inline images, styles, etc...). I was under the impression that 2.4.4 allowed this. Will keep browsing the manual.
