(no mail exchanger (mx) found!)!

I see in posts that I need to change the setting: "I think OTRS checks whether the entered customer mail-address seems to be valid through checking whether a MX-DNS-record could be found. To turn off this behaviour, set Framework -> Core: CheckMXRecord = No " Where exactly do I put: set Framework -> Core: CheckMXRecord = No What file does this go in specifically and where?

To be more specific its when im putting a user in the From Field, searching
for them, and selecting the user. This is on a windows 2003 system if it
matters.

Simon,
* log into OTRS with an administrator account
* click on the Admin icon
* navigate to SysConfig, under Misc
* Search for MXRecord
Now the Core group is displayed, which holds the setting for
CheckMXRecord. If you select this you can adjust the configuration
setting.
Kind regards,
