IMAP / IMAPS fetch mails

Hi, I´m trying to configure in the admin account the Postmaster Mail account, some how i can only select pop3, pop3S and imap. How can i activate imapS ? as claimed working on the features page? reason why i need is following; we are using exchange 2003, when i configure a private mailbox with settings ; recieve.mailhost.com , user: aaaabbbb and pass: pass it fetches mail to the selected queue. How ever we have public folders, with settings: recieve.mailhost.com , user: aaaa bbbb and pass: pass notice the space in the username. When fetching this public mailfolder i allways get authentication failure. (user and pass is correctly filled in) i´m guessing it is or because of imapS or something with the space in the username. but using %20 to fill the space does not make a difference... can anyone help? thanks!

Just shooting from the hip here... but did you try a '+' sign? Also I ¿think? that if you look at the properties for the public folder you'll find that there is a 'non-space' account name for the public folder. I forget how, but you may need to enable this property field somewhere... Check with an exchange list/group for details. gl, LQ ________________________________ From: otrs-bounces@otrs.org [mailto:otrs-bounces@otrs.org] On Behalf Of sol sol Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2009 10:39 AM To: User questions and discussions about OTRS. Hi LQ,
thanks for your response,
i will subscribe indeed on a exchange forum. Do you have any link to a good
one?
so far i have tried with % %10 %13 %20 %80 . and + on your advice,
but no luck :(
You are right about the alias name, but when filling in this as username it
fails to .
I am a bit guessing that my issue is about imapS, but i can not find any
info on how to activate this.
Any hints about this?
thanks!

hi,
i have found a solution to fetch the public mail folder,
type : imap, username : DOMAIN/NTUSERNAME/MAILBOXALIAS
!but! it seems that otrs does not accept a space in the ntusername.
i guess it is a bug or needs to be filled with something,
but it does not stands in the manual, is there anyone who can tell me where
to find info about this?
do i look in otrs or is it more a perl module problem?
thanks
