What will happen after "Auto Increment" finishes?

Hi all, Silly question, but definitely running through many heads... If I choose "Autoincrement" for ticket numbering, with a minimum of "5", that means it will start @ 00000 (after the systemID), what happens after I reach 99999? Thanks and Best Regards, Muhammad El-Sergani.

it doesn’t start from the beginning of course. The number will be extended to 6 digits, otherwise it would start reopening the first tickets ;-) Test by yourself with 1 and open more than 11 Tickets ;-) Cheers, Nils -- Nils Leideck http://webint.cryptonode.de / a Fractal project

Actually, i still have not found a good explanation for these issues that I have seen a few times: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2010-November/034061.html http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2011-January/034582.html Still waiting for the next time it happens. -- /Sune T. -----Original Message----- From: otrs-bounces@otrs.org [mailto:otrs-bounces@otrs.org] On Behalf Of Nils Leideck Sent: 3. april 2011 16:36 To: User questions and discussions about OTRS. Hi Sune,
I believe both emails refer to OTRS 2.4.7, more or less, but not OTRS 3.0
Maybe they've fixed it in the new release?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Muhammad El-Sergani.
