
I have created a new server installing otrs 2.4.6 on a windows 2003 server box using mysql 5.0 now I have another server running version 2.4.3 which is currently our production box I want to backup the production box, what are the steps in backing up the database this is my 1st time doing so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also be careful about what you think a good backup is. The database does
NOT store all of the system config settings. Most of these are stored in :
Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAAuto.pm and
Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAuto.pm
If you don't back those up, most of your customizations will be lost if you
tried to reinstall OTRS on another server if your production server died.
