Hi,
Some RFC: I'd appreciate some possibility where the OTRS community can share such themes or other add-ons or any other improvements. I think otrs.org would be just the perfect place. What do you think? I'm totally approving and agree with this behavior, that's the most important thing I think to make a software improving by the time and make it better and better. Even if not all personal modifications /customizations are useful to everyone, it can be for a few people searching for specific features not included by default in OTRS. Our OTRS system has been customized and it's more and more a "problem" when upgrading version ...
Does your theme works with OTRS framework v2.2.x please, I see on your website it's released for OTRS 2.1.x ? Do you have a "simple" method to avoid losing modifications done on the Standard Theme when installing a new one please ? Do you have any english version [or even French :o)] of your website please ? Thanks for your contribution and time. BR, Laurent MINOST Le vendredi 07 septembre 2007 à 16:12 +0200, Torsten Thau a écrit :

I thought Drupal (http://drupal.org/) might be an approach. It's a CMS which has been used for many community portals, discussion sites and so called 'socal networking' web stuff - of course it's also open source and distributed under the GPL :). Unfortunately I haven't had the time to have a closer look for a deeper evaluation. Any other suggestions? BTW: I like the look of the new otrs.de website. True, that's one of the otrs-forums out there, which I was talking about. Maybe this wiki could be (used for)/(reachable via) wiki.otrs.org. I agree, the intention we have with otrs.org is to provide a hub for all aspects around the OTRS project. As such it also should be a platform for sharing community developed Add-Ons of all kind. Currently it's not however. But you'll be happy to hear (or at least I hope so :), that we are in the process of creating a new otrs.org site. We just updated the .com site and .org is next. You may remember my post on the otrs mailing list asking for ideas for a new .org site. There wasnt much feedback. Maybe I asked the wrong folks. So if you have ideas for our .org site, please speak up. I can't promise anything, but we'll sure do our best to address your needs.
