Hello, Marco.
I have implemented a new input type Agent for one of my clients. You need to
put the attached file into Kernel/Output/HTML and you can use a new type in
CI definitions immediately. Please let me know if it worked for you. I will
file a bug with proposed fix then.

mmmh,
Anton, it looks like the module has my same problem. It display agents if
you perform a search but the selected agent is not transferred to the proper
field and so it will not be stored/persisted with the desired record where
you want to have it.
I'll try to make a httpd restart at noon... stay tuned
Thank you again.

Marco, don't bother restarting httpd. I haven't tested this, I'm sorry. I
see the same behaviour. In addition, my CustomerUser search is broken the
same way. I will check again and let you know.

Hi, Marco.
It turned out that CustomerUserSearch and UserSearch return quite different
data structures. I resorted to convert UserSearch to the form of
CustomerUserSearch. I could choose the found results and save the CI to DB.
You need 2 files (attached).
Kernel/System/ITSMConfigItem/XML/Type/Agent.pm
Kernel/Output/HTML/ITSMConfigItemLayoutAgent.pm
Let me know your results.
Regards,
Anton.

Hi Anton,
A minor bugfix if you would like to have a feedback on your module... for me
is not necessary but I've tried and it doesn't works, so someone else could
report later ...
Either if you define a type=>'Agent' searchable, no results return if you
try to use it.
Thank you so much again.
