Hi Amol, After you install the Config Management package, there is a new group created on your system, called *itsm-configitem*. It seems like the account you use is not a member of this group but only of the group *admin*. Please make sure your user account is a member of the group *itsm-configitem * or, if you use roles, that he has a role that is a member of this group. If so, you'll have an option in the navigation bar called 'Config Item' and you can click that, and then 'New', to create a new CI. I am using 'root@localhost' <'root@localhost'> as user and belongs to * itsm-configitem.* I am able to create Config-items but as a class like computer,Hardware,Network..etc. I want to create an item of class computer like Desktop-2583, with its attributes as, RAM-256, processor-Intel dual core, HDD-130GB...etc Kindly suggest a way in this regards. I have been trying to figure out how to create a couple of forms, perhaps I can better explain.. I am building 2 forms... One called "Cluster" which contains all the information for a Cluster of computers. Cluster name, location architecture, sys admin contact, nodes etc.. Another called "Node" which contains individual node information. These are both built in "[ Config Item Management ] " as configitem class objects. What I am trying to do, is set it up so that when a node is entered, it can be tied to a cluster. Does anyone know how I could do this or can anyone point me in the right direction?
