Hi OTRS.org My question is, how to configure iis on windows server 2003? I have a Windows Server 2003. I installed IIS, Mysql, PHP. Some serveral website running on that server. You can do this by adding a new "web" under IIS. You can't use IIS with the
default Windows installation package - because that will install Apache for
you - if you want to use IIS you should install ActiveState Perl [
http://activestate.com/perl], download the OTRS source and then follow the
instructions here:

I guess it would be best if you have a sandbox or demo IIS server to first
try your configuration there before applying it to a live system.
As a side note - you won't need PHP for OTRS.... ;-)

The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
I already enabled the Perl extensions in IIS Webservice-extensions. Have you any idea to solve this problem?

Hi Sander,
Did you granted needed permissions for your folders? One of the possible
reasons for "The specified CGI application..." error is insufficient file
access rights, for example when IIS has no write access on "\var\log"
folder. TEMPORAIRLY grant full access for user EVERONE and see if error
disapears or not. It is recomended to put your OTRS source in WWWROOT folder
because there is some predefined access rights.
OTRS log files are stored in "\var\log" (must be introduced in config.pm)
and maybe helpfull.

But now I got a CGI ERROR: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers
I have enable al perl extensions. Any idea?

My question is, how to configure iis on windows server 2003? I have a Windows Server 2003. I installed IIS, Mysql, PHP. Some serveral website running on that server. So i can't make any mistake.
I would like to implement otrs on a existing website in a new folder. sample: www.website.com/otrs So how to configure iis?

Thanks! That was the problem. Now i can start OTRS, but with installer.pl on step 2 (creating the database) i got this error:
Software error:install_driver(mysql) failed: Can't locate DBD/mysql.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ../../ C:/site/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/cpan-lib C:/site/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../.. C:/Perl/site/lib C:/Perl/lib . C:/site/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../.. C:/site/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/cpan-lib) at (eval 24) line 3.
Perhaps the DBD::mysql perl module hasn't been fully installed,
or perhaps the capitalisation of 'mysql' isn't right.
Available drivers: CSV, DBM, ExampleP, File, Gofer, ODBC, Oracle, Proxy, SQLite, Sponge.

Did you granted needed permissions for your folders? One of the possible reasons for "The specified CGI application..." error is insufficient file access rights, for example when IIS has no write access on "\var\log" folder. TEMPORAIRLY grant full access for user EVERONE and see if error disapears or not. It is recomended to put your OTRS source in WWWROOT folder because there is some predefined access rights.
OTRS log files are stored in "\var\log" (must be introduced in config.pm) and maybe helpfull.
