OTRS 1.2 Linux to 2.0 Debian or Windows Upgrade...

Does anyone have any knowledge on migrating from OTRS 1.2.3 to 2.0 on Debian or Windows? I'm going to need to migrate my existing OTRS install to another server and figured I should upgrade it as well. Is there is a howto or something simliar on upgrades/migrations to 2.0 from 1.2. I would be much appreciated to receive that knowledge if someone has made that move. thanks jesse

Hi Luis,
I guess your problem is that you'd like OTRS to send mail from different
mail addresses and/or domains, and your mail server does not accept mail
for all different mail addresses you'd like to use?
Today, OTRS only supports one configuration for sending mail; see Admin >
SysConfig > Framework > Core::Sendmail.
I guess the best way to solve your issue is to set up your own mail server
that can send mail for all domains you'd need to take care of.. but be
aware, running and setting up a mail server is non-trivial and requires
quite a bit of insight and skills.
What you can also do is try and find an smtp host, possibly from your ISP,
that is not picky about the mail that it will send out, or talk to your
local mail admin if he can do something for you in terms of changing
policies on the mail server.
Kind regards,

Hi Michiel , thanks for your response, I have this scenario…
I have two queues… Development and IT Support, each queue have two agents
Developer1@localdomain.com
Developer2@localdomain.com
And
supportit1@localdomain.com
supportit2@localdomain.com
I have my own mail server and I have that any response for my agents are individually…. For example…
If developer1@localdomain.com take the ticket 1 and he answer to the customer, the mail from agent have your own Name or mail…..
But now I only can configure one agent for this…
Maybe with this example could you help me better…
Thanks---
