FAQ 1.6.5 CGI Error?

FAQ Module appears to install properly, I am able to view it and add a category, but when I create a new article and attempt to save it - I get this error: "CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers."
From that point on - the FAQ module always returns this error - even from the customer interface. I can uninstall and reinstall to get rid of the error, but as soon as I attempt to enter the first article it blows up.
Platform: OTRS 2.4.7 FAQ 1.6.5 Win2K3 IIS 6 SQL 2005 Strawberry Perl OTRS has been running splendidly on this platform for several years. (with the exception of Strawberry Perl which started a couple of upgrades ago) Nathan Campbell Dallas Symphony Orchestra

Successful workaround: Performed a fresh install of OTRS 2.4.7 with mod_perl on a new machine This was simply to get the /otrs/perl folder which I copied to the existing machine that was having the error. I remapped the: PATH variable and the *.cgi *.pl mappings in IIS 6 from Strawberry Perl to the mod_perl file structure and it works. Hello, I am in process of upgrading OTRS 2.0.3 to the latest and greatest. I upgraded to 2.1.9 today. Everything works! Next, using package manager, I installed the survey package 1.1.9. The overview via package manager has the green check marks. However, I click on Survey and then click on the link to create a new survey, I get: Can't locate object method "BuildSelection" via package "Kernel::Output::HTML::Layout" at /opt/otrs//Kernel/Modules/AgentSurvey.pm line 464. Any hints? Hello, I've installed OTRS 2.4.7 on a server running Red Hat 5 /Apache 2.2.3 /Perl 5.8.8 and everything is running fine. I can log in as an admin user and under Admin, run support assessment. The Check for CGI Accelerator returns You should use FastCGI or mod_perl to increase your performance and rates it Critical. I've installed http://.../perl-status http://.../perl-status - it shows mod_perl (2.000004) loaded. mod_perl2 http://utkvt1.vet.utk.edu/perl-status?mod_perl2 2.000004 Thu Apr 17 02:07:31 2008 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/mod_perl2.pm Through http://.../server-inf http://.../server-inf , I see mod_perl is loaded. My question, what is support assessment package checking to determine if mod_perl is running or not? As far as I can tell, mod_perl is loaded and running. Thanks for any pointers. Hi Charles,
You mention you're running Red Hat. On Red Hat, Fedora and CentOS boxes, we
had an issue where mod_perl is loaded AFTER OTRS is started. This causes
tools like Server Status or such to report that mod_perl is running, where
actually OTRS can not benefit from it. This will be addressed in the RPM for
upcoming OTRS 2.4.8.
/etc/httpd/conf.d/otrs.conf is loaded, but mod_perl
(/etc/httpd/conf.d/perl.conf) is loaded later.
The workaround is to rename /etc/httpd/conf.d/otrs.conf to
/etc/httpd/conf.d/zzz_otrs.conf and restart your apache server.
