Hi Ibrahim, Gmail does not use the standard POP3 ports, also Gmail requires SSL communication. I'm not sure if you will be able to get this to work with OTRS.. I'm fairly new to OTRS myself so maybe there is a way to do this. I have successfully setup POP account checking using regular POP accounts. So as for your other questions, yes when my OTRS POP accounts are checked the email is removed from the server, so only the OTRS gets the email. If you need the emails to stay on the POP accounts you can have the POP server BCC another account when email is received. Anyhow hope this helps! OTRS is working well for me save 2 problems, 1. It corrupts attachments, attached via the agent web interface. 2. receiving emails

Hi everybody, I am a bit new to OTRS, and testing the system for my company. I have some problems to configure OTRS while receiving emails. I want to receive emails from a POP3 account. It seems not complex, but I still can't receive any mails for the system.. For example, is it possible to configure OTRS to receive the emails from a gmail account. If it is how shall I configure the POP3 account in the OTRS. And I also need some information to make it clear. Extended customer search in queue?

Hi, are there any plans to have an extended 'customer search' form available? Reason: I'd like to have the possibility to search for specific fields like - Customer ID (eg. 12345) - this would be the company itself - Customer Company name - Customer user (eg. John Doe) - Customer user email-address and parts of it -> john.doe(a)foo.invalid -> *(a)foo.invalid - Address / Country and to do a full search through all defined 'search fields'. Feature request: Jump to Ticket#

Often, when talking on the phone with a client, or talking about a ticket with a co-worker, you want fast access to that ticket. OTRS is missing a feature to quickly 'jump' to a ticket# or client#. In other ticket management systems I find a "Jump to Ticket#" feature (a text field in the upper right). It might be a good idea to expand the Jump to Ticket# feature with a Jump to ClientID feature, since handling multiple tickets per clients can be quite awesome with OTRS. OTRS 1.3.2 and PendingJobs.pl

Hi all, I have a little Problem with my PendingJobs.pl. The Cronjob's only Output is Malformed UTF-8 character (unexpected non-continuation byte 0x72, immediately after start byte 0xfc) in substitution (s///) at /opt/otrs/Kernel/System/Ticket/Article.pm line 958.
