Unable to change login.pl text

I changed the following texts in login.pl, but the texts displayed on the webpage are still the same... "Login failed! Your username or password was entered incorrectly." "Logout successful. Thank you for using OTRS!" etc, etc Any ideas what I need to do?

newbie needs help with notifications

Hi, Newbie OTRS user here. I'm having trouble getting notifications to work. I have "new ticket notification" set to "yes" for my queues, but I don't receive a notice. Mail appears to work correctly, however - I can send mail from OTRS. I also see nothing suspicious in the log. Can someone give me some pointers as to what to check? Thanks, Stan McFarland

Fields available in the dtl-files

Hi. I got my picture of the customer in the ticket working, thanks for the help :-) I'm a bit confused about the names of the fields available to the dtl-files. Are they documented anywhere? And why do the names change between the dtl files? In AgentTicketZoom.dtl the customer login is "CustomerUserID". In AgentTicketPhone.dtl and AgentTicketEmail.dtl the same field is called "CustomerUser". Am I missing something? -- Lars

Admin/SysConfig

Chaps, I've taken over an OTRS installation and the admin/sysconfig top level icon has disappeared. I've tried looking in ZZZAAuto.pm and ZZZAuto.pm to see a front end item being deleted, but can't see anything. Can anyone suggest where I should look to recover these icons? Regards, Simon

DB error?!

Neither myself or root show up under User Management, but both can login. Yet, both myself and root show up in Users <-> Groups Management. The test customer doesn't show up under Customer Users, and can't login. Yet, It does show up under Customer Users <-> Services. Any help would be appreciated. I'm completely baffled as to what is going on! Sincerely, Jeff

Hello. I'm running Fedora Core 4 and yes, I do regular backups. J I suppose the database is independent of the rpm, so maybe I'll try to use the source package, because I don't have a newer rpm. Do you think the scripts will do it from such a different version? Thank you, Nuno

SLA Problems
