$Self->{ScriptAlias} not working?

I want my url to point to /issuetracker rather than /otrs... So I changed it in my Config.pm and then changed it in my apache config file, but I am getting the following apache error: "Request exceeded limit of 10 internal redirects" Has anybody had this problem before? Greg

Hi, It's possible to send a email to a customer to informe that his case is automaticly close by pending auto close ? I can send a email on state change but i want to send a email not for all ticket change but on special state with a custom email. It's possible ? Change TicketType via interface

Hi, I search how to have the possibility to change the email ArticleType or the email FollowUp-ArticleType via the interface. In fact, i want this, because we want to specify a email as Internal when we received a email from an internal person if this reply is not viewable by the customer. Can you help me ? It is relatively easy to deploy limited and secure pop3 access using MS exchange. The pop3 server supplied with exchange is questionable (you may need them to play with it a little before it works ok for OTRS) but access to it can be very tighly controlled. They are just dodging the workload; produce a cost/benefit scenario for the cost of making the change to AD and exchange versus the cost of buying an IMAP compliant ticketing system!

On the Exchange server, they should be able to enable pop3 for just a specific account, only allowed access from a specific IP. But perhaps that's not "good enough" for the Exchange/Security admins, as pop3 goes from "disabled" to "enabled". Not allowing external pop3 access, may only mean that they prefer not having their users check private mailboxes from work. If any Perl hackers are listening, Win32::OLE or Mail::Outlook may be of assistance in accessing an Exchange mailbox via MAPI. It doesnt have to be pop3 all the time. You could also install sendmail on your otrs sever and use procmail / .forward to get the mail into otrs. I think this is described in the otrs manual or install documentation. Then you set up forwarding in exchange to forward mail to support(a)domain.com to support(a)otrs.domain.com. Of course your Exchange server needs to be able to find a MX record for otrs.domain.com. This will bing your mail into otrs. I run it this way for a couple of years now and have added other aliases (helpdesk(a)domain.com, abuse(a)domain.com) that are forwarded via exchange to their respective counterpart (helpdesk(a)otrs.domain.com, abuse(a)otrs.domain.com) and each goes into their own queue. Also if you work with whoever does the security at your place and you explain your need, they might add a specfic rule to allow port 110 from your particular IP address.
