Theme created are not working

Re-installing Compress::Zlib from source may solve the problem. Possible problem is that dependency modules are missing. Try installing the dependencies of Compress::Zlib as listed during its installation. subject line issue

i am trying to customize the ticket view so that it will always show the first subject submitted with a ticket rather than changing it with _every_ email sent to the ticket... is there a way to change this??? it makes it very hard to keep track of what is in a ticket if the subject line keeps changing... i noticed that it shows the original subject line when you use 'zoom' in the email threads, so it is there somewhere... once again, thanks... -- Dale Ryon Wilhelm Director of Technical Operations & Services UnitedLayer LLC, San Francisco 415.349.2123

Error cannot write to syslog with starting OTRS

Hello As a new user I installed to my best knowledge the OTRS distribution on a Solaris10 x86 platform. However, starting the web page http://localhost/otrs/index.pl leaves me with the following message: no connection to syslog available at ../..//Kernel/System/Log/SysLog.pm line 69 What could be wrong? migrate otrs 2.0.1+ mysql to otrs 2.2.5 + oracle

Greetings... Suddenly... out of the blue... I become the nominated "special one" to migrate my company's otrs. I have otrs 2.0.1 up and running... and I intent to migrate to otrs 2.2.5with oracle 11g DB (since it's a policy agreement for company's DB). Since I'm new to otrs... I'm asking for some guidelines about it... Should I firstly migrate otrs 2.0.1 to 2.2.5 (following this http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2008-February/022074.html )... and then migrate mysql to oracle? Does anyone ever tried (successfully) to migrate mysql to oracle? Should I just do a mysql dump.... use some application to import the dump to oracle... and then run the otrs script (DBUpdate-to-2.2.oracle.sql) for oracle? Pardon my otrs ignorance... Ticket updates to groups

hi there, We're trying to find a clean way of keeping people in a group updated on tickets globally. The basic scenario is : We have a support department with a number of staff. as a support ticket comes in all in the group should get the message about a new ticket, however we need to send updates to the ticket to all in the group as well for. My initial investigations pointed at the Watcher function, but this requires you to subscribe. We are looking for a solution that will automatically send all ticker information to all users in a group without subscribing or unsubscribing. does anybody have an ideas ? Henti
