Hi All , has anyone used OTRS-Manager http://otrs-manager.sourceforge.net/index.php?page=homepage_en ?? Trying to update my otrs db settings but it does not save the settings? Any help would be appreciated.

Customer user without email address

Hello OTRS fans, Do you know the consequences when entering an invalid e-mail address during customer user creation ? We are using LDAP to autenticate our customer users, but there are a few who don't have an LDAP entry. For those, I would like to set up a second backend, using the OTRS database (customer_user table). The set up was fine, and I can create a user in the DB. BUT, this user does not have an e-mail address, which is mandatory. SO, I entered a wrong e-mail address. The user was successfully created, but I would like to know what kind of problems I might have. Thanks for your help on this. Regards, Regis

FAQ and Categories

I just installed the FAQ 1.3.1 opm in an otrs 2.2.6 . The otrs 2.,2.6 was an upgrade from an old otrs 1.X database. now when I try to create a new FAQ I get the error: No category accesable. To create an article you need have at lease access to min. one category. Please check your group/category permission under -category menu-! Which is nice, but I dont have a category menu. If I go to the history option, and look over old faq items I see a list of them. OTRS 2.2.6 : problem with Customer Companies listing

Hi, upgraded to OTRS 2.2.6 a few days ago and we are faced to a little problem : Under the Agent frontend, the Company link is not displaying anymore our companies from our external DB, when I click on the Company link/Icon, I'm only having nothing displayed, just the possibility to add a new company. Tried to get the same configuration (Config.pm / Defaults.pm / ZZZAuto.pm / ZZZAAuto.pm ...) with OTRS 2.2.5 and my companies are listed properly. Did not find any OTRS bugzilla entry that could match this problem for the moment. Does anyone is having the same behaviour please or know how to solve it (workaround or new 2.2.6 configuration maybe ? ) Thanks by advance. Best regards, Laurent

Header and Footer location for Customer Tickets

Hello, I am new to Otrs and want to remove the footer from all of the customer pages. I have found and modified the CustomerLogin.dtl and that has worked for the login page. I can't seem to find however what you need to modify for all of the other pages once you are logged into the application. Could someone please let me know where it is stored? Permission of CompanyTickets

Webmail module not working

Hi, I've installed Webmail module and gave the mail server details correctly. Here our mail server doesn't support IMAP, but supports MAPI. So I gave the protocol as MAPI inside the config files. I'm getting this error. [when] 2.3b with ITSM?

Hi community! Is it possible to install ITSM 1.1.1 (or maybe some beta) over OTRS 2.3b ? I want to test this beta because 2.3 is really cool stuff and I don't want to wait till it would be a release.
