Something for you to check... My antivirus software, McAfee 8.5i blocks outbound SMTP traffic by default. Check to see if your antivirus software is blocking your traffic. A simple test would be to try to telnet to port 25 on your SMTP/mail server and see if you get connected. Fwiw, I have OTRS 2.2.7 installed on Windows Server 2003 and it is working perfectly. The only thing I had to change was to reconfigure the e-mail notifications to use a smarthost. /*Raj*/

SystemMonitoring .. Having problems getting it working

I've installed SystemMonitoring to work with receiving inbound tickets from an external vendors ticketing system. Apparently my regex'ing is so rusty I'm unable to make this work. So far it's not even identifying anything as a new ticket since based on what I can see I should be able to see data in the free fields when it does find something that looks like a new ticket. Is that correct? Basically I'm just clicking on "free fields" and they're still blank on things that should have been identified as new tickets. OTRS Email nortifications not working in windows

" Hi, I have installed OTRS 2.2.7 version on windows pc and did basic configuration, Now I can fetch tasks from email address and do other things. But still nortification emails not going out from the OTRS system. Please help me to fix this issue. Best Regards, Alex
