FQDN - set in SysConfig, but showing in answer message as localhost

Hi, I'm trying to set up OTRS 2.3 and most of the configuration I've got working. But though I've set the FQDN on the SysConfig page to the appropriate value, it continues to show up as localhost in the 'Compose answer for ticket' page to respond to tickets, giving '* invalid otrs@localhost (Invalid syntax)!' Including the field <OTRS_CONFIG_FQDN> in the signature gives me the right value in the text, so I know the configuration is being stored, but clearly it is not being used by the compose answer page. Can anyone help me with this? thanks

Dashboard: can't select filters for "Locked Tickets" or "My Queues", only "All"

OTRS 2.4.4, Centos 5.3, Apache 2. Behavior seen in Firefox on Linux and Mac, and Safari on the Mac. On the dashboard, I'm "locked" on displaying "All" for both New and Open tickets. Hallo OTRS-Mailing List. ich habe eine unprofessionelle Frage. ich habe eine Firebird Datenbank an OTRS angebunden, funktioniert alles ok. Habe aber ein Problem, in der Datenbank sind die Kundennamen nicht in einer Spalte gespeichert (Namen von Privatkunden und Namen von Geschäftskunden sind in verschiedenen Spalten), d.h. wenn bei der Suche nach Kunden * angegeben wird, werden nur die Kundennamen von einer Spalte angezeigt. Map => [ #Benutzername [ 'UserLogin', 'Company', 'company', 1, 1, 'var', '', 0 ], wie kann ich eine JOIN Abfragen impelmentieren? (Abfragen von zwei Tabellen) und wo überhaupt? in /opt/otrs/Kernel/System/DB/* in den Treibern? Danke Im Voraus! hoffe mir kann hier geholfen werden

Disable CompanyTickets in customer.pl

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible (and how) to disable the 'CompanyTickets' view in the customer.pl via code. I know I can disable it via the sysconfig setting, but I'd like to create two versions of the customer.pl. One which shows CompanyTickets and one that doesn't. Any hint is appreciated. Multiple OTRS instances in the same machine

Hi, I found severeal documents regarding how to configure several instances of OTRS in the same machine. But the documents that I found seams a bit old, going from 2004 or older. Are any manual that explain how to make it that apply to the actual version. If make any difference, the implementation is running in RHEL 5. Thanks in advance (and sorry my bad english). Gustavo.

Hi everyone, I'm using otrs manager without any problem. Only when i press the report button i receive this error. report not created. please close open report There are no open reports..??? Or is there a tweak or something that i have to check? Regards, Sarper

Hello, I have updated my version of OTRS 2.3.3 to 2.4.5, everything is apparently OK. I'm having some doubts: When I answer a ticket, he automatically come with this status of "closed successful", and in fact it should be as "OPEN". How do I change it? And also when I answer a ticket, a text is added to the message "SCALAR (0x82d7f6e4)", what is it? Customize "Compose email" form [Urgent]

Dears, I'm asking again that how can I fill compose email form with customer email. When agents compose email for customer ticket "compose" form is loaded. Email body filled by salutation, signature and response that I wrote before. I want to put customer email address automatically in "To" field. I've checked the source code "AgentTicketCompose.dtl" out. There is a input field "To" and it is filled by value of $QData{"To"}. Unfortunately, in browser I don't see customer email address. Is it possible to edit values of QData matrix? Also where is the declaration of that matrix?
