automatically fill of TicketFreeText

hello otrs-gurus, I have following problem: I add TicketFreeText at Ticket. Now, I want that this TicketFreeText gets a value from my databyse automatically. This value is a unique value in database (number of contract). I tried to found some documetation but without success. *there is TicketFreeFieldDefault.pm in /opt/otrs/Kernel/System/Ticket/Event, wich has two subs (funktions) but that doesn´t help me, i can´t understand it. thanks for your answers!

How to use the [ Customer Company ] feature

Hi! I'm on OTRS 2.4.3 but I don't seem to figure out how to put users into a 'company' that I have created under the '[ Customer Company ]' link on the '[ Admin-Area ]' page. If you need to change the 'CustomerID: *' on the '[ Customer User Management ]' without a drop-down or anything else, then I don't see the point. What am I missing? Are there any config I need to enable to have this work? Are there any other information I need to give you to help me out here? Or do I have to do the DB thingy mentioned in the manual? It did not seem related to this issue as I see it... Hope you can help me here! -- Stein Erik

db int filed used as text

Hi, In my db the customer login field is an integer, but apparently when otrs runs query on the customer_user table it uses the login field as text thus slowing down all the queries, for example: WHERE LOWER(login) = LOWER('12345')' How can i force otrs to use WHERE login = 12345 ? Thanks
