OTRS + CRM Implementation

I have been googling this for hours and it seems to have been mentioned on here but no one has ever given anything. What I want to do is link OTRS with a CRM program like SugarCRM (or similar). Has anyone done this before/know how to do it? Basically I want the tickets to be copied into SugarCRM automatically, with all approriate fields, and customers to be stored in the same location. I read somewhere that one guy had done it but he provided no further info. Cany anyone help? Cheers ~Chris

Diff between PendingDate and Due date?

Google-Maps-Customer-Map plugin ?

Hi OTRS Users, By checking http://otrs.org/2.4/features/ webpage, we have a good screenshot of this plugin and an announce that states it will come "soon" ? OTRS 2.4 is now more than one year old but no Google Maps plugin yet :) Does anyone know if it is planned to be released someday please ? OTRS on linux vs windows

Hi All, I'm wondering if you know any pros and cons of running OTRS on Linux vs running it on Windows? Apart from obvious differences that come from OS, are there any benefits for the application whan it's run on Linux (eg. is it more stable, better tested etc)? I'm just about to choose the platform so any info would be useful. Thanks a lot -- Robert

Question/Answer path leading to ticket creation

Hi, I need to modify the customer public interface so that before a ticket is created the customer needs to answer a few question based on a flowchart schema: E.g. Is your pc on? yes/no YES Is the mouse properly connected? yes/no NO Connect the mouse and so on... If no answer available for the issue, then a ticket will be created. Theme: playing with freetext and search screen

Hi there, I am now confident about themes but here I have a problem I want to personalize the search So I modify the agentticketsearch dtl files Like other screens you can put in comment the general code about freetext and then select the ones you like: General code:  <tr> <td width="50%" class="contentkey">$Data{"TicketFreeKeyField"}</td> <td width="50%" class="contentvalue">$Data{"TicketFreeTextField"}</td> </tr>  Additional code you can place: # # <tr> # <td class="contentbody">$Data{"TicketFreeKeyField1"}</td> # <td class="contentbody">$Data{"TicketFreeTextField1"}</td> # </tr> # You have to remove the # and for that part (and put in # the general code) and then it normally works (for all other screens it is ok) But here it does not work, the only place where you can select freetext is via the sysconfig menu (admin) but then it is not about theme, it becomes a general setting. Am I doing something wrong or is it yet not possible to customize the search function via themes, or is it a bug? Thanks for your help PS: additional question: how do you clean the data base of freetext because in the search functions I can see everything I have tested for freetext1 but I want to propose/display only the last occurrence ...
