OTRS + CRM Implementation

I have been googling this for hours and it seems to have been mentioned on here but no one has ever given anything. What I want to do is link OTRS with a CRM program like SugarCRM (or similar). Has anyone done this before/know how to do it? Basically I want the tickets to be copied into SugarCRM automatically, with all approriate fields, and customers to be stored in the same location. I read somewhere that one guy had done it but he provided no further info. Cany anyone help? Cheers ~Chris

We're running OTRS on Linux with full AD integration including single sign-on, automatic agent creation/removal from AD, full customer integration with AD - so no customer or agent maintenance. It was a bit fiddly to get set up, but once working it's been very reliable. Hello, I have noticed a number of requests for an OTRS Android app in the list and decided to develop one, please check it out: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ptitov.megaticket It's still in beta, but should work stable and has all essential functionality, namely: * Dashboard * Notifications of new assigned tickets * OTRS views: queue, status, escalation, locked, watched, responsible * All essential ticket operations: displaying, creating, responding, leaving note, moving and closing. I tried to test it on all devices and servers I have access to, but there still may be some bugs, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a bug report or feature request. Send agent notification when customer sends an email to a queue

Hi all, Our system is queued based on customer names. So any @xyz.com would go to a XYZ queue, and so on. Currently we need OTRS to email a group of agents when the customer updates the queue. We have a notification event that would do so, but the problem is that it emails the whole team even when an agent updates a ticket. Any ideas? Thanks //M

Change multiple fields of one ticket at once

Hi, is there a way in OTRS 3 to change multiple fields of one ticket at once without having to click on all the individual things like Responsible, Note, Priority, etc.? There is a bulk change in the ticket list, but it only works when selecting at least two tickets. Why can I not use this functionality for just one ticket? Thanks, Anselm

Owner of phone tickets

Hi, When a new ticket is created via the new phone interface the ticket will be unlocked, yet it's owner will be the agent registering the ticket. Beside that it sounds a bit inconsistent, it is also a bit misleading. Can I somehow fix this so that there is no owner to the ticket? I tried to create a generic agent, but there I can only update the owner, cannot unset it as far as I can see. Any help is appreciated! Cheers, tamas

Value too long error

Hi guys, I have this system that it's sending error messages to a specific queue in my Otrs installation. Sometimes the email subject is too long (more than 255 characters) and I'm getting an error on the Otrs db side since the "title" column in the ticket table is a 255 varchar. Since I cannot shorten the other system email's subject I was wondering if altering the title column (to 600 characters) might have some unexpected side effect on my working Otrs installation. If somebody can comment on this, I will appreciate it. Regards, Mariano
